Know the Founders

Driven by a passion for design and cultural preservation, our founders have built ZOHA as a bridge between time-honored craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.

Zoha Was Born

After nearly three decades, a new name emerged, Zoha. Inspired by light, grace, and the pursuit of something pure and original, Zoha became the next chapter in the family legacy, a name that looked both inward and forward.

Empowerment took centre stage as women from nearby villages were trained in the art of weaving.
What began as employment grew into confidence, creativity, and community, where craft became their voice.

The Art and the Artisan

Our focus returned to where it all began, the artisans themselves.
Through every rug, they became our true representatives, carrying the soul of Zoha and the stories of their craft to the world.

Holding the Thread Through Crisis

As the world stood still during the pandemic, Zoha stood by its people and partners.
We reimagined work, ensured safety, and kept every loom running, quietly, safely, and meaningfully, so that our global bonds remained unbroken.

Where It All Began

In the heart of Uttar Pradesh, Yaqub and Sons was founded not as a business, but as a humble commitment to the craft of weaving. The looms were simple, the patterns precise, the legacy just beginning.
