Hand Knotted

is an art of weaving rugs by hand on a Vertical loom. The weaving is done by using Tibetan knot or Persian Knot. Tibetan knot is commonly referred to as Indo-Nepal weave because this knot system came from Tibet which was first in use in Nepal. Carpets hand knotted using this technique is popularly known as Indo-Nepal or Indo-Tibetan.

The Persian Knot originated in Persia i.e. Iran. The Standard size of the loom starts from 6Ft to 10Ft. There is no fixed size of looms and size depends upon size of the rug to be weaved.
